The 32nd Dutch Mushroom Days will take place on the 25th, 26th and 27th of May in the Brabanthallen in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. With 80 stand holders, not only from the Netherlands but also from other countries, it will be one of the biggest “Mushroom Days” ever. The organisation, Stichting Champignondagen (Mushroom Days Association), expects more than 2500 visitors from the international mushroom world, including a big Chinese delegation.
During 3 days the capital city of Noord-Brabant will be a collection of many nationals that will come to Holland to inform themselves about the newest developments in the world of mushrooms. For the Dutch suppliers it is a perfect platform to get in touch with mushroom companies worldwide, and around the trade show, the biggest of its kind globally, some other activities take place, including an international workshop in Horst on Monday and Tuesday, only for invitees.

Wednesday On Wednesday the 25th of May the trade show is open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm. From 5 pm, a “Welcome Event” will take place, at the same location as the trade show, with Greg Seymour from Australia as a guest speaker. Seymour is the chairman of the International Society for Mushroom Science (ISMS) and director of the Australian Mushroom Growers Association (AMGA). His opening speech will cover interesting possibilities and challenges for the mushroom industry in the next 30 years. The presentation looks at the newest views on consumer behaviour; mushrooms as health food; innovative product development and highlights of marketing campaigns. Seymour will also talk about the mushroom industry in Australia, that succeeded to create a spectacular rise in demand in the last decade. From 7:15 pm a dinner buffet will be served accompanied by live music. The evening program is open for both visitors and exhibitors and will finish around 9 pm.
Thursday On Thursday the 26th of May the trade show is open from 10 am to 6 pm. Come 6 pm it is time for the “Get Inspired” Dinner Party in the “Orangerie” in the beautiful city centre of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, a full evening program with extensive buffet of regional dishes and live music from a band called “Creme Fresh.” More information on this evening will be found here.
Friday On Friday the 27th of May the trade show is open from 10 am to 5 pm.
