Dutch Mushroom Days poised to start

5 czerwca, 2009

The Dutch Mushroom Days in Den Bosch promises to be a great success. Here’s the latest on this event.

Due to the huge interest shown by international companies in the mushroom business in participating, the organisers have hired an additional hall in the Brabanthallen exhibition complex. There are currently 69 international and national participants

On the home page of this website (articles section) you can find articles on particpating companies and their latest innovations. More innovations can be found in the Mushroom Days Special of Mushroom Business magazine (nr. 34), where you can also find a floorplan of the fair.

Online registration is still possible at www.champignondagen.nl. Visitors can also pre-register for free entrance to the trade fair (tickets at entrance: € 50).

The planned river boat trip has been cancelled due to lack of interest by the participants. Those who registred for this trip can join the 'HapStap culinary trip through Den Bosch instead. Contact the organisers for more info.

Jan Mulder, Euro-parliamentarian for the Dutch liberal party (VVD), and fourth on the list of candidates, will give a speech during the official opening of the Dutch Mushroom Days on Wednesday 10 June 2009. More on Mulder here.

The Christiaens Group in Horst is organising a cultivation congress with participation of AdVisie and C point in Horst on Monday and Tuesday. Unfortunately, no more particpants can register at this moment.

The Mushroom Business team (Roel Dreve and John Peeters) will be present in Den Bosch. Stand 45 is located to the right of the entrance to the main hall. We hope to welcome you there!

The Dutch Mushroom Days will be held from Wednesday 10 until Friday 12 June 2009 in the Langstraathal and Kempenhal in the Brabanthallen complex in Den Bosch. The Dutch Mushroom Days offer the participating companies and visitors active in the mushroom sector the ideal platform for information, inspiration, interaction and innovative products, services and technology.

The organisers (Stichting Champignondagen) expect to welcome more than 2500 professionals from the international mushroom sector. The exhibitors are suppliers of innovative products and services to the mushroom industry from countries including the Netherlands, Germany, France, England, Italy, Scotland, Ireland and Poland.
