The eighth conference of the World Society for Mushroom Biology and Mushroom Products was held in New Delhi, India from 19 to 22 November 2014. As it is now winter in India, the climate was pleasant, with relatively cool nights. The conference was organised by the Directorate of Mushroom Research of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and was attended by 320 visitors, representing about 30 different nationalities, the majority of whom were from India.
